Joshua Dread, Lee Bacon

Joshua Dread is a great adventure book with action packed exploding superpowers and super heros. I would recommend this book to eight and up.

The book is about Joshua and his parents who are villains then he figures out he has a superpower and meets a girl who has a superpower but her dad is a superhero and Joshuas parents and the girl Sophies dad are rivals.

I would recommend this book a 4 out of five stars because the plot kept making me want to read it and they had good cliff hangers befor chapters started an in the next chapter you would figure out the cliffhanger.

The Chocolate Touch, Patrick Skene Catling

The Chocolate Touch is about a boy that goes to a candy shop, and gets a piece of chocolate, and the next day everything he puts into his mouth turns to chocolate. But it gets worse when every thing his lip touches turns to chocolate.  How will he get rid of it ?

This turns into an adventure in his own neighborhood!

A good book and this book shares a good sense of humor.

The Tiger Rising, By Kate DiCamillo

My book is called The Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo. This book takes place in the misty Florida woods. The main characters in this book are Rob Horton and the tiger. The tiger is a character who does not show up a lot in the book because the tiger is mostly in Rob’s head. One important event is when Rob’s mother dies because when Rob’s mother die’s Rob’s mood and personality changed for the whole book. Another important event is when Rob meets a girl named Sistine Bailey on his first day of school. This is a important event because Sistine is helpful and gives Rob evidence in the whole book. I really enjoyed this book because I loved the description poetic words in the book. My favorite part of the book is when Rob meets the tiger because Rob says that he sees the tiger rising. I would recommend this book to somebody who likes poems and art because there is lots of poetic words and lots of art stuff in the book. For example there are  carvings of the tiger that they explain about.

I will rate this book four stars because I think the chapters were a little to short in this book but

any way it was a good book.

The Forgotten Door, By Alexander Key

The Forgotten Door is a great adventure with many different twists keeping you on your toes.

The Forgotten Door, Alexander Key

The forgotten door by Alexander Key,is in my opinion a fairly good book. The main character Little Jon fell through a portal that had been closed for many years. He meets the Bean family who helps him and doesn’t give up. The setting of the book is in New York at about 1960. Throughout the book, the Bean family finds out some secrets about where Little Jon come from and what he can do.

My favorite part of the book is when Jon goes to court because I find it interesting when people find secrets.

I would recommend this book to people who like suspense and mystery with a little history.

I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

The Great Brain series By John D. Fitzgerald

I recommend the Great Brain series to readers that like adventure. I recommend the Great Brain series because the characters do things a normal day person would not do. The story is based in a small town in Utah. The “Great brain” refers to a very clever boy who has two  brothers and a mom and a dad. The boy uses his cleverness get things from other boys that he otherwise would not get.So the book is about him and his brothers adventures. But sometimes he get in trouble with grownups for using his cleverness to get those things. So once again I reccomend the “Great Brain” siries to people that like adventure.

I would rate this book 5 ***** stars

Kiki Strike, by Kristen Miller

In this mystery filled book a 13 year old girl named Ananka Fishbein thinks her life is boring until one day when she finds a sinkhole and sees a girl named Kiki Strike. you will meet a girl named sodionia in my opinion she is stuck up and snobby.Later on Ananka meets some mysterious girls Kiki Strike introduces her to. The girls names are Oona Wong, Betty Bent, Luz Lopez and Deedee Morlock. The series is set in New York city.
