I am an 8th grader in LREI. As I was reading the New York Times one day I saw an article raising awareness about veterans and how the health and labor departments treated them once they returned. The article surprised me and I decided to do some backup research. The facts spoke for themselves and I decided that this unfairness could not happen to our heroes. I am looking to shine a light on the veterans we honor but don't help.
