Death Penalty

Racism embedded is the structure of the death penalty system is a major issue. Data shows that people of color are more likely to be prosecuted in America for capital murder, sentenced to death, and killed, particularly if the victim in the case is white. The death penalty is a “direct descendant of lynching” in the United States. To date, the Death Penalty is not federally abolished.
