Reflection:

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

Raine and I learned a lot about what Food Bank for NYC does to support the community of children and families in need. Two things that stood out to me were 1, that Food band for NYC tailors itself to fit many people’s needs. For example, they have special programs for different age groups and changes their options for single adults versus families. Food Bank for NYC also has a wide variety of programs that are used to either bring awareness to itself and the issue of food insecurity in New York.
