What I did:

We went to a screening about home births and midwives in New Mexico.

What I learned:

I learned that many women don’t have options for what they want to do with their bodies throughout pregnancy and sometimes don’t even know how to get maternal care. (More information in the video.)

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

It’s important to share your story or any information you have in order to spread awareness and hopefully make things easier for women in the future. (More information in the video.)
