What I did:

we had a great conversation about activism. He gave us his option on everything Lebron James is doing and what he did to make it possible.

What I learned:

I learned about how many different organizations Lebron James works for that many people don’t know. He is giving people who don’t have a voice one from where the place he’s from. Lebron made a school for kids in 2nd grade to 4th grade but every year there adding a grade. Theres also a learning place for parents.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

I learned about how much action lebron is taking in comparison to other athletes. He really supports Collin K. We learned about how strongly lebron feels about using his platform for the better.

Dash

Dash is a eighth grade student at LREI. He was born in Los Angeles, CA. Dash has always had a passion for sports and equality. He is interested d in sports activism and race because he's a avid sports fan and believes change is possible and needed.
