What I did:

We are organizing a march on March 14 for the victims of the recent shooting in Parkland, Florida.

What I learned:

I learned that in order to have change you need to fight for what is right.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

I learned that we need to honor those who have died because of this horrible epidemic in our country. We need to honor them and we need to fight for them. Nothing will change unless we fight for what is right and that goes for all social justice issues, not just gun violence.
