What I did:

My group took the train to THe veterans hospital where we met with our original contact. He interduced us to 3 post combat veterans. we talked to the veterans for about an hour and disused what it is like to come home from war and how you are treated.

What I learned:

one thing that I learned about my topic was that many veterans dont know what their rights are or have to fight just to have them activated. This defeats the purpos of these rights because they should just e given to our veterans as a thank you for their service.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

One thing that I learned about the social justice aspect of is that many veterans are not given their rights or are cheated out of using them in the right way. for example people with not give them a veterans discount or
