Interview with Talmage Cooley 11/21/16

Earlier this year we had an interview with Talmage Cooley who was a important gun activist. We met him at a restaurant and talked to him about his work and how we can make a difference. He gave us many ideas of how we can make a difference. Talmage started working on gun violence issue when the Newtown shooting happened he realized that there were changes that needed to be made. He quit his job on wall street and started getting in contact with companies to prevent gun violence. Later he start one of his own and also passed many laws. Overall our interview with Talmage was a great success and we got lots of information. We learned that in Maine there was a petition made to make it illegal to carry a gun on you in Maine. But it did not get passed because the NRA put up signs to warn people from signing.

I am interested in Gun Control because it is a huge problem in America and there aren't proper laws in place. There is no way to take away guns from Americans, but there is a proper way to use them.
