We got into to contact with Kim thought the Manhattan chapter of the Brady Campaign. The Brady Campaign is one of the most well know organizations fighting gun violence. We had been in contact with Kim at the start of the whole social justice project and we met up a couple weeks later. We met at Coffee bean a block a way from school. Kim started to work against gun violence because a while back she and her friend got shot. Kim was fine but her friend passed away. Her role in the Brady Campaign is the head of the Manhattan Chapter and she tried to get legislators to pass gun laws. She talked about how instruct New York’s gun laws are and how this is endangering thousands of people. She had a very strong opinion on if a gun should be locked or unlocked in a household with children.
