Survey at Washington Square Park

For our fith field work we went to Washington Square Park to ask people questions about our topic to understand their perspective. Going in to this fieldwork we had to come up with questions that were not easily answered in a single word. That was to insure that peole didn’t just say one word answers and disregared the question ask. While we were there we interviewed eight people. We made sure to interview both men and women to see if there was a different in their answers. Going in to this survey I thought people were going to try and get out of having to think about the answers. However, they didn’t. Most of these people were very knowledgeable to this and gave really detailed answers. This really helped contribute to my understanding of children in poverty.
