Interview With Brian Torres 11/23/15

During this interview we met Brian Torres, a documentarian who is currently making a documentary called El Nevado. We asked a lot about what he was hoping to achieve with documentary and what the generation is thinking and how there thinking about the envirement. It was really interesting to learn about what these kids were thinking. They thought that it was terrible what was happening and that we should come up with a solution. They came up with a lot of interesting ideas but none of them are realistic. It was cool to know that our generation cares and is trying to come up with a solution. He is a hoping that futures and generations will be able to watch this documentary and think wow that used to be a problem, and will be able to see how everyone, including kids got involved and thought about the issue. Although he is malong the difference in other ways,  he is documenting what other people are doing and that is just as important so future generations can look back and see what we have done, so they can copy it and make a difference themselves. This fieldwork lead to Brian documenting what we were doing during the peoples climate change March that weekend. We learned a lot about what the our generation thought about this issue and a little more about what we can do to help.

Hi, my name is Graham Ferguson and I am a LREI eight grader. My social justice topic is Climate Change. I chose Climate Change because it affects everyone; if we don't do something fast we won't have a world to live in and to have our other problems in.
