What I did:

What I learned:

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

We learned about the process of UNISEF tending to a country that has large malnourished population. They send a scouting team that look at the problems and determine what groups should be sent out depending on how serious the situation is. We also learned about the types of malnutrition wasting, stunting, and obesity. Wasting is when someone is really underweight for their age or height. Stunting is when children under the age of two suffer from malnutrition and have irreversible growth problems for the rest of their life. Obesity is when someone is very overweight for their age and height. We also learned that Yemen has the largest malnurished population out of any other country. We also learned the casues of malnutrition. Global warming, war and gang violence, and lack of money. UNISEF is in 190 countries and are active in around 109.
