She told us about how her organization takes the film industry closer to their goal of parity in 5 years by hosting educations events, dinners with people in a position to hire and people who are looking to be hired, and a crew list that makes it easy to effectively vet women when considering hiring them. She told us some specific stories and examples of misogyny that she has seen in her industry.
