What I did:

We went to Morgan Stanly to talk to Patrick Savage and interview him about what he feels are the issues veterans face and his experiences being a vet.

What I learned:

We learnt about the issues veterans face in health care after a war. We learnt about how you must document your injuries at the time during a war to receive help after a war.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

We learnt about how hard it is for veterans to get the health care they deserve just because of how the conditions were in their war. Patrick Savage told us about a story of someone who didn’t get their health care just because he was in a “tough” group during the Iraq war a didn’t want to complain. Now he suffers from the accidents that happened to him.
