Sock Out Homelessness

We are a group of four eighth graders who attend LREI: Little Red School House and Elizabeth Irwin High School. Our social justice group is interested in issues involving homelessness, one of the biggest problems that people in cities throughout the the United States faces. In New York City alone, for example, more than 60,000 people, including more than 22,000 children, experience homelessness each night. What we want to do is address this issues in any way we can, through education and otherwise, to “Sock Out Homelessness”.
