The book I read is Once Upon a Frog by Sarah Mlynowski. This is the 8th book in the Whatever After series. The main characters are Abby and Jonah. There are many problems but the main problem in all the books is getting home on time. The book takes place in The Kingdom of Birdopolis. This book takes place in modern times.
One big event that happened was Abby, Jonah, and their dog prince got sucked into the Frog Price. Abby and Jonah get sucked into fairy tales by their magic mirror in there basement. I would say why they get sucked into fairy tales but that would spoil the book nor less the series itself. I find it interesting that Abby and Jonah fell for prince/frog Fredric’s stories and lies. I would say more but that would spoil the book. Something I found important was Jonah’s head itches. Jonah’s head itches because he has fairy memories.
Abby is careful, thoughtful, and smart. She fits these adjectives because she takes good care of herself and her brother and, usually knows what’s happening. Jonah is adventurous, rebellious, and loose. He fits these adjectives because he always takes the “risky road” in life and is always telling his sister to loosen up.
I liked this book. I liked it because it is funny and has major plot twists. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys fantasy and fairy tales. If you are interested, the first book in this series is called The Fairest of Them All. I give this book four stars.
