Who Was Michael Jackson? by Megan Stine

Anyone remember the moon walk? Anyone remember Michael Jackson? The king of pop? Well you are going to learn all about him today. Michael Joseph Jackson was born on august 29 1958 in Gary, Indiana and died on June 25, 2009, in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, CA. His best selling album was Thriller in 1982. He mad over 27 million dollars! My favorite song from the album was “Beat It” because it is super catchy.

Michael Jackson is cool person who liked to groove on the dance floor! He was nice and always happy. The song “Bad” was actually about being cool, not being bad.

I liked the book because it has lots of facts about him. I would recommend this book to a person who likes music. I would give this book 10 out of 10 and 10 is the highest  because it is fun and cool!

What is the Super Bowl

 

Man! There has been a lot of super bowls.

Now many of you may know what the super bowl is but you might not know the history. The first super bowl was on January 15, 1967 between the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Green Bay Packers, who won? The Packers. The super bowl wasn’t always called the “super bowl” it used to be called the AFL-NFL championship. No team has ever been undefeated except for one. In 1973 the Miami Dolphins had a 15-0 record, all they had to do was win the AFL championship and then win super bowl llll and they won the AFL championship! Now it was all up to the coach of the Dolphins Don Shula to win the super bowl and then they will have a undefeated season. And they were versing the mighty Washington Redskins.

 

Another time when a team was undefeated was in 2007 when the New England Patriots won all of their regular season games including the AFC championship game, that meant they were 16-0. All they had to do was win the super bowl and they will be tied with the dolphins. But in the super bowl they were versing the Eli Manning and the mighty giants. With only 1 minute left in the game the giants were down 10-14  giants wide receiver David Tyree made a diving , leaping ,crazy, awesome , helmet catch that basically won the game for the giants. And the final score was 14-17 the giants won. And from then and on Don Shula and the dolphins hold the record.
This book is part of a series that is called who was, who is, what is, what was, where is and where was. This book is about 170 pages long. Plus if you do not like the super bowl it is ok to still read this book because it also has some of the halftime performers such as Bruno Mars and Katy Perry and many more. This book will tell you about every super bowl from super bowl 1 to super bowl 50. (This book does not tell you who won this year, just a heads up the Patriots beat the Falcons.) this also has a timeline of who won every super bowl (I think…) I will give this book a five star rating. I like this book because it tells you a story of who won every super b0wl.

Squish: Fear The Amoeba, By Jennifer And Mathew Holm

Squish: Fear the Amoeba No.6 is about a boy named Squish who goes on lots of adventures.

It all started when Squish was reading a Super Amoeba comic at school. Pod (Squish’s best friend) asked Squish if he wanted to go to the movies next Saturday. Squish said “Sure.”   

Next Saturday, Squish got to the movies. The movie is called The Water Bear2. After the movie Squish got terrified. He thought the movie was  very scary. Pod asked if he wanted to see the first movie. Squish couldn’t say no to his best friend.

So Squish said, “Sure,” and  went to Pod’s house. He was terrified of the movie he could barely eat his popcorn. Squish went home. He was watching tv when all the sudden a commercial came on for a Water Bear 3!!! It was very scary!

This book was very good for people who like comics and lots of action. I would give this book series a five (which is the highest) because every book has different adventure. This book has about 90-93 pages. If you like this book you will like the series Lunch Lady!

Lunch Lady Saves X-Station 5000

It was reported that last night on an ocean dock Lunch Lady fought the League of Librarians because x-station 5000 were being stolen. The League of the Librarians are these people who want to rule the world.

How could they do that? Well everyone loves the game console so if they take them all away and destroy them everyone will listen and they will, “Rule the world,” Rhonda Page [the manager]. Not so fast LUNCH LADY is here!

Lunch Lady is a normal person, on the outside she saves our city but on the inside she is a lunch lady for a school. When the consoles were being stolen she fought and used her fighting and karate skills to save the consoles and…. SHE DID! The city was saved! “Thank you Lunch lady!” a lot of people say.

And the city has been saved again by the one and only

“LUNCH LADY!”
