Final Reflection on Learning:

Jack A:

Jack H: Throughout the process of interviewing people, I really noticed the differences in how people experience their learning differences, not only in how they themselves experience it, but also in how their past experiences have such a lasting effect on them. As a person who used to go to a school that helped students with learning differences, I’ve come to accept my own and have been able to adjust to a more mainstream learning environment. If I hadn’t switched schools, I can’t even imagine what my life would be like today. My main point is that these experiences stick with us forever, whether we are aware of it or not. In all of the interviews, each person mentioned stories of teachers and students failing to be supportive, as well as being hurtful out of ignorance, and these experiences have had a lasting effect on them.
