Al Capone Does My Homework, Gennifer Choldenko

 This is the last book in the series.

Moose and the gang are having fun, spying on the cons, helping them to. Moose needs to help Capone, who has already gotten nat into a special school for kids with disabilities. Moose is nice, and now it is working against him flowers for Mae Capone, Al’s mom…

 

He needs help and has a limited time period to do it. He has to look like he is alone, not with his friends on the boat, ware Mae will be.

 

But there are some cons with them on Alcatraz that are up to something of their own.

Piper has found a list, not just any list, a list made by cons, and not just any list from a con, but a game, but not any game… a game that can kill, literally. And it looks something like this: And guess who the new assistant warden is; Moose’s dad…Nat is also getting really smart.

The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan

The book I read over winter break was called The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan. The Titan’s Curse is the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. The main characters are Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, Annabeth, Daughter of Athena, Thalia, Daughter of Zeus, and Nico and Bianca di Angelo. The book takes place in a lot of different settings. One of the parts you want to focus on if you read this book is trying to understand the prophecies, they are very hard to understand because they don’t make that much sense. I enjoyed the book because it has humor and it’s action packed. The part I got worried at was… wait I shouldn’t tell you. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it’s a good read and to people who like crazy books with action and humor this book is good for you.

The Sea Of Monsters By Rick Riordan

There are two series of the books. The Sea Of Monsters  is the second book of the first series. The main characters are Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, Annabeth, daughter of Athena, and Tyson, son of Poseidon. Tyson is a cyclops. A cyclops is a human that has one eye and is immune to fire. Percy and Annabeth are half-bloods or also called demigods. A half-blood is someone that is half human half god. They are made by a human and a god.

They move around in the book so the book isn’t happening all in one place. Percy and his friends need to go find something to heal Thalia’s tree. Thalia’s tree is a tree that protects camp half-blood. Camp half-blood is a camp for only half-bloods. Really it’s impossible for a mortal to come through to the camp unless one of the half-bloods say their first and last name and who they let into the camp. So back to saving Thalia’s tree. Thalia’s tree has been poisoned by we don’t know who. The only thing that can save Thalia’s tree is the golden fleece. The golden fleece is a fleece from a gold sheep.

I really enjoyed the book because it’s different from other books. The book is different from other books because it has a lot of action. And not a lot of books have a lot of action. My favorite part was when Tyson punched the bull smack in the face! The bull was evil. I recommend this book to people who like action I rate this book 4 ½.
