This book is about two girls, Sabrina and Daphne Grimm whose parent disappeared and were sent to live . The last trace of the person who kidnapped their parents was a bright red hand print. This book has a lot of emotion because Sabrina has a lot of anger in her. Daphne is very inthusiastic about life while sabrina is a grump.
I give this story five stars.
This book is called Flora And Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo. The main characters are Flora and Ulysses, and they live in Flora’s house in the late 1900’s. Three important events in the book are: Flora saves Ulysses from a vacuum, Flora discovers that Ulysses can understand everything Flora says, and they get into many different adventures. I really enjoy this book because it is exciting and funny.
My favorite part of the book is when Flora saves Ulysses because the vacuum was out of control and Flora was watching it all happen. Then all of a sudden, the vacuum went on top of Ulysses and Flora helped him. It made me laugh to imagine this happening in real life. I would recommend this book to people who like humorous books and fantasy books (because Ulysses can understand Flora). I would also recommend it to people who like Kate DiCamillo books because it is better than her Mercy books.
Lastly, I rate this book five stars because it was exciting, funny, and Kate DiCamillo added images and comic book strips that added to the story.
This book is called Yuv Ya Bunches written by Lauren Myracle. It is the first book in the series of the Flower Power books. There are four main characters, Yasman, Katie Rose, Camilla and Violet, who never expected to end up the very best of friends. The girls are in the 5th grade at Rivendell Elementary School, however, this is Violet’s first year there.
One really important event that made the book really exciting was when Camilla’s good luck charm, a bobble head turtle named Tally The Turtle got lost on the first day of school. Throughout most of the book they spend time looking for the turtle and when they find it, if they find it, there is a lot of blaming for who stole it.
Another important thing that happened in the story was that Yasman, the quiet one out of them all, creates a website called BlahBlahSomethingSomething.com which ends up bringing the girls together to be BFF’s.
I can’t just choose one favorite part of the book because I loved all the parts sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. This is one of the best books I have ever read and I have read a lot of books. The thing that makes this book different from all other books is that the whole story in general was really funny. Catching Fire is the sequel to The Hunger Games and is by Suzanne Collins. It is about a place called Panem with a place called the Capitol and 12 (or maybe 13) districts. The hunger games is when a male and a female gets reaped from their district to fight each other to the death and the people who got reaped from the other districts. The reaped people are called tributes. Being reaped means you get picked to be in the hunger games. The tributes from district 12 in the 74th hunger games is Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen. They’re mentor for the games is Haymitch Abernathy. Katniss’s best friend who despises the Capitol is named Gale Hawthorne. Peeta and Katniss win the hunger games and become victors. they are also about to become mentors when the Quarter Quell happens. The Quarter Quell is a special hunger games that happens every 25 years. For the 75th hunger games the victors are to be reaped from their district and fight. Now Katniss’s chances of surviving are even slimmer. When you are reading the book you will uncover all different secret/surprise characters. When Peeta and Katniss are reaped again they hear hints of rebellion spreading around Panem. I enjoyed the book dearly because I simply just could not put it down.
I would rate it 1 stars for people who cannot handle gruesome scenes. And 5 stars for people who can handle gruesome scenes and understand every single thing that is happening on the page. My favorite part of the book is when Katniss makes a jaw-dropping performance in the training area with her bow and arrows. My least favorite part is probably when a poisonous fog starts chasing the tributes. Again, as mentioned, I would really like to recommend this book to people with a tough stomach.

The main character of this book (if you don’t know from the title) is Charlie Joe Jackson. He decides to make his parents happy and go to a summer camp called Camp Rituhbukkee (pronounced Camp Read-a-bookie). In his bunk every kid has a weird habit. One kid sneezes about 20-70 times a minute. Another kid thinks that garlic will make him live forever. They all think he’s weird because of his ‘non reading’ ways except Jack and George. Jack’s dad has a master plan to get Jack into Harvard and George is like the smartest kid in America.
Charlie Joe Jackson is trying to de-nerd these super smart kids to save them from a world of dorkdom. He gets hired for the Bukkee Bugle (the camp newspaper). He has to write an article about a book about Lech Walesa, if you don’t know who Lech Walesa was, you can look his wikapedia.
I would give this book 5 stars (*****) because it is super super super super funny (it really deserves 3 supers). I would recommend this book to Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans.

My book is called The Doll Shop Downstairs. It was a very good book. I would recommend the book to people who like not a lot of adventure but a big problem with many obstacles. I would rate this book 4 stars out of 5. One of my favorite parts is is when they go to FAO schwarz. The book is about a girl named Anna whose family owns a doll shop. The doll shop has been in the family for many generations. The Anna needs to help the shop. Do you want to Know why? Well to bad! You just have to read the book to find out!
The book Charlie Joe Jackson’s guide to not reading is about a kid named Charlie Joe Jackson and how he hates to read. Charlie Joe Jackson hates reading so much he does some mischievous things to get out of it. Luckily Charlie has a good friend named Katie of course she is a girl because boys need girls to survive because girls know what to do almost all the time. Katie helps Charlie a lot during this book.
I really loved this book because I personally don’t like to read and this book told me I’m not the only one. Another reason I loved the book is because Charlie goes through two problems with school and some more problems about school but not in school. I like when there is an obviously problem that makes me think about what is going to happen next.
My favorite part of the book was when well I don’t know because I liked it all to much to decide. My least favorite part was when the book ended I liked it so much.
I recommend this book to people who don’t like to read because it is about a kid who doesn’t like to read.

Mother Daughter Book Club Review

The Mother Daughter Book Club is by Heather Vogel Frederick, and has four main characters, Emma Hawthorne, Megan Wong, Cassidy Sloane, and Jess Delaney. It takes place in Concord Massachusetts. The book is in a series of four, in each book one of the characters has a big problem, other characters get problems too, but one has the boss problem and in this it’s Jess. I enjoyed this book very much.
My favorite part is when Emma stands up to Becca Chadwick the bully because Emma never stands up for herself. My other favorite part is when Megan stops being friends with Becca and becomes a friend with Cassidy, Emma, and Jess. I like them because that was exactly the opposite of the characters personality.
I would recommend this book for people who appreciate good writing because the writing is fantastic!
The book switches point of view every chapter and the point of view can only be Cassidy, Megan, Jess, or Emma.
I would rate this book five out of five stars!
In A Glass Grimmly is a bloody but funny book about two twins named Jack and Jill. Jill is a princess, and Jack is a peasant and they both live in a kingdom called Märchen. The princess’ mother is obviously the Queen, and very pretty, but very rude. One day, before the Queen’s half birthday (it was the biggest holiday they celebrated, except the Queen’s real birthday), a silk weaver comes to make the Queen a dress, but it won’t fit. So he makes it for Jill. But Jill can’t see the dress. It’s invisible to her. What will happen when she wears it in front of the whole kingdom? Something strange happens to Jack also. What is it? Read the book to find out! I would definitely rate this book 6 out of 5 stars because the book is basically fairy tales, the GRIMM way. Also, it has a narrative voice, which I like. If you like really funny books, you should definitely read this book.
Allegiant is about a girl named Tris who used to live in a city that was divided into factions. This book is about her and her boyfriend, Four after they leave the city to see the outside world because the first tyrant, Jeanine gets overthrown. But the power just changes to the next tyrant, Evelyn who got rid of the factions. Evelyn tries to kill Tris and the Allegiant, a group of people who want factions back.
The Bureau of Genetic Welfare hate “genetically damaged” (people with damaged genes) and try to fix the genetically damaged by making experiments (cities with factions) namely the city Tris and Four lived in. Four, Tris’s boyfriend is genetically damaged (Tris isn’t genetically damaged), but doesn’t like it. If the experiments backfire the bureau resets the city with a memory serum so the experiments don’t all get shut down because if the government sees that the experiments don’t work all the experiments will get shut down.
At one point everyone in the city is about to die because the Allegiant are trying to kill Evelyn and the people that are with Evelyn. Evelyn has death serum and if she releases it everyone will die, so the bureau will try to reset the city. Tris and Four try to figure out how to stop everyone from dying without resetting them.I would recommend this book to people who like dystopian action books. I rate this book 5 out of five even though it is a little intense.
