REMARKABLE- It’s a wonderful town. Until today, the Gifted school turned BLUE!!!!! By the Grimlet Twins.  All of a sudden everyone heard a big BOOM!!! It was coming from the direction of the Gifted School.

Jane, the only girl at the Public School, had seen the Grimlet Twins before buying about forty bottle of bluing rinse, ten boxes of gum balls, and a few mouse traps. Jane was suspicious, but the Grimlet Twins wouldn’t tell her why they bought everything. They said she would figure out soon enough and she did. The very next day at school the Grimlet Twins had put their plan into action. They turned the Gifted School blue. It was a big surprise for everyone in the Gifted School and out. The explosion made a big boom. Literally everything around it turned blue, even the students and teachers turned BLUE!!! The school Playground and Bus. Everything! The Public School watched as everyone in the Gifted School looked out the window confused for the moment. Everyone looked at each other and looked out. People stopped and stared. They all thought on what had happened.

The principle of the school called a meeting late at night at the gifted school. All the teachers and parents of gifted students had to attend. 

The Grimlet Twins were expelled and were happy about it. Almost like they were planning it. Which most think they were. Especially their principal the esteemed Doctor Presnalda. The Grimlet Twins wanted to be in trouble and they knew they would in the public school only Jane go’s to. So the very next day the Grimlet Twins got in trouble they did all sorts of stuff, like Chew Gum, have a spitball fight, run with scissors, and eat paper.

The esteemed Doctor Presnaldas sister thought that Doctor Presnalda was punishing her for not coming to the meeting by giving her the Grimlet Twins. Her sister worked at the public school and sent the Grimlet Twins to the public school. The day the gifted school turned Blue. A tiring day for everybody. The Blue as sky school…

Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

Hogwarts was chosen to host this legendary event. The champions all hope to win eternal glory and a thousand galleons. Harry’s name was put in The Goblet of Fire. There was an age line that should have prevented this because Harry is only 14 and the age line was 17 and up.          

Champions were only allowed a wand in the first task. Therefore Harry used accio to get his broomstick. He then used the broomstick to fly up really high so that the fire, when the dragon breathed it, could not touch him. He dodged the dragon’s fire, ended up in a dive below the dragon’s leg, and snatched the golden egg!
His score was, from the different judges: Madame Maxine, 8; Bartimaeus Crouch, 9; Albus Dumbledore, 9; Ludo Bagman, 10; and Karkaroff, 4. Harry’s best friend, Ron, said, “What! Four! You lousy scumbag,” when Harry got the marks. Harry will move on to the second task along with all the other champions, Cedric Diggory, Fleur Delacour, and Viktor Krum.

The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

Earlier this morning in 2011 Annabeth Chase, and Butch brought three demigods: Jason, Piper, and Leo to Camp Half Blood. Jason went straight to talk with Chiron.

Jason was greeted by Chiron at the big house with quite a grim welcome, “You, you should be dead.”  Jason was very lost. When he was asked questions about his background he didn’t ever have a response. He was very clueless but he knew some parts like that Greek and Roman gods are still alive and that they are a powerful part of civilization, but he had no idea about his own background.

Seymour the camps live stuffed leopard head-a present from Dionysis all,of a sudden had green smoke coming out of his mouth. Chiron, and everything else in there froze except Jason. A image of Juno, the roman version of Hera, appeared. She said, “Our time is limited Jason, my prison grows stronger by the hour. It took me a full month to gather enough energy to work even the smallest magic through its bonds, I’ve managed to bring you here, but i’m growing weaker”

“You are in prison? Look I don’t know you and you’re definitely not my patron,” said Jason. “I don’t remember anything.”

Hera/Juno then revealed that it was her that stole his memory.

Who is Jason, is he going to take the quest the goddess who stole his memory has given him, and if so will he succeed in this task with his friends Piper, and Leo?

Gods of Manhattan by Scott Mebus

FIRST CITY BANK-Aaron Burr, who is also known as Hex, tried to shoot 13-year-old Rory Hennessy in First City Bank but his 9-year-old sister Bridget defended him by jumping into the line of fire.

Apparently, Hennessy had thought Burr a stupid magician, according to a note found that states: “Hex is full of crap!” and trusted him for a while, but when Burr tried to shoot him, he figured out that Burr had also shot his son.

“The gun takes out your soul,” said Hennessy to a reporter. “Did you see that papier mâché boy with Hex? That was his son. Now I have to find a papier mâché body for Bridget.”

In an interview with Burr, he said,“I’m trying to save the Munsees! The boy saw the skeleton of my son, Jason, who screamed and the boy demanded to know whose skeleton it was and I had to shoot-at least try to-shoot him!”

“Apparently, we’re taking my sister to this guy named Flavio who’s gonna make her a papier mâché body to keep her alive until we can find her real body (which Hex took),” said Rory in an interview.

This whole ordeal will be seen to by the Gods of Manhattan.

NY-NY Today we have found out that Teddy Fitzroy has stolen Kazoo the Koala. Fun Jungle’s career is at stake with the stolen koala.

 Australia is very mad that Fun Jungle has lost their koala. Australian first had Fun Jungle have a permit for Kazoo for a couple of months. Fun Jungle went through a lot to get this koala, let’s hope the police find him soon.

Teddy says he didn’t steal the koala but the security cameras show that Teddy snuck into the koala habitat the night it was stolen so nobody else could have stolen it than Teddy. Teddy says, “Someone set me up! I promise I didn’t do it!”

The evidence is clear Teddy has stole the koala. All we need to do now is find the koala. We haven’t found this out in a while, Fun Jungle has put a koala stuffed animal to make the crowd think that nothing is wrong. Everyone is so mad at Fun Jungle for doing that.

Teddy is still trying to look for the real koala-napper but everyone thinks he is the koala-napper. He still claims that he is not the one who stole the koala. All of this is so crazy that we should leave it to the police.

NY, NY- Breaking news, last night August Pullman got lost and was beat up and bullied by older kids in the woods, just because his face is deformed. But his friends stepped in and saved him and got out safely.

“August Pullman is no normal boy.” “He plays normal things and does normal stuff but he is not normal.” Via said.  “August Pullman was born with a facial deformity, but that does not stop him from doing things perfectly fine.” His mom said,  “When August was young he did not do things perfectly,  he barely had a chin and he could not eat or talk.” “But all August’s surgeries fixed those problems and our family calls that a miracle.” His dad said, “August was home schooled because he hated it when people saw his face.” “And I taught him,” his mom said.

“One night Mom and Dad decided said he might be going to school.” Via said,  “And later that summer they took took him to the school so he can see it.”  “August got really mad at us,” His dad said.  August met three kids who took him on a tour of the school. Their names were Jack, Charlotte and Julian.  

August got bullied a little but made it through the year. In the end of the year the whole grade went on a trip. August dreaded the trip and did not want to go but he went anyway. He was having a fun time, until the movie.

The night he saw the movie was a nice night but it was dark. When the grade got to the outdoor movie theater, it was announced they were seeing Mary Poppins. When the movie started, August and Jack went into the woods to go to the bathroom. When they were done they could not find their way back because it was dark. Then they saw their flashlights.

They came over to August and started to laugh and curse. At this point Jack was telling August that we should get out of here. But of course the older kids kept on teasing Auggie. Now Jack was mad and was telling the kids to back off. But the kids kept on teasing Auggie. By this point Jack was pushing the kids and the kids were pushing him back. And Auggie was just trying to reason with them but they didn’t care. Then out of nowhere Miles, Amos, and Henry stepped in and was trying to help. They just said let’s leave and that is what they did. But when they were trying to leave the kids grabbed Auggie’s hood and pushed him to the ground. Then Amos rammed into one of the kids and knocked him over. After, they ran out of there before the kids could hurt them anymore.

“It was the most I have ever been bullied.” August said.

Lunch Lady By Jarrett J. Krosoczka 

It was reported that last night on an ocean dock Lunch Lady fought the League of Librarians because x-station 5000 were being stolen. The League of the Librarians are these people who want to rule the world.

How could they do that? Well everyone loves the game console so if they take them all away and destroy them everyone will listen and they will, “Rule the world,” Rhonda Page [the manager]. Not so fast LUNCH LADY is here!

Lunch Lady is a normal person, on the outside she saves our city but on the inside she is a lunch lady for a school. When the consoles were being stolen she fought and used her fighting and karate skills to save the consoles and…. SHE DID! The city was saved! “Thank you Lunch lady!” a lot of people say.

And the city has been saved again by the one and only

HOSTILE HOSPITAL by Lemony Snicket

LAST CHANCE GENERAL STORE-Violet, Klaus and Sunny have arrived at the Last Chance General store. There was mob trying to burn them at stake for killing Count Olaf in the town called Village of Fowl Devotees.

They went inside, and the asked John the shop keeper, “Lou is that you?’’ “no,’’ replied violet. The Last Chance General store is huge as the criminal found out very quickly. They had just been walking for a long time so there feet just hurt more now.

Klaus asked “Do you have a telegram?’’ “Yes,’’  replied John. When they got to the telegram, Violet said, “I made a telegram in school, so I can connect the circuit.’’ Then Klaus said, “I read two books on Morse code so I can send the signal and Sunny put on the headphones to make sure it goes through to Mr. Poe, The banker.         

The door opened and Lou said, “John be careful there are some murderers on the loose.’’ They kept talking so John could know more about some murders and then he realized that they were in his shop. Violet, Klaus and Sunny take off to the exit they make it out in the nick of time, and no one knows where they are now.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

Camp Half-Blood- At Camp Half-Blood in the modern day a monster attacked Percy Jackson. This happened while the camp played capture the flag.

The monster attacked Percy because the monster could smell Percy’s blood. They played capture the flag with swords. Percy’s blood was too strong for the monster to stay away. Percy was very brave in the situation even though he was new to fighting. He was brave because he fought the monster. Percy’s friends were nervous after they heard the monster. The fellow campers yelled, “Monster!”

The situation was a wake up call for Percy and the camp that they may not be so safe multiple campers confirmed. Capture the flag “was intense” campers said. Percy hurt himself by falling in the water after a girl  pushed him in. Percy’s friend Luke taught him how to fight. Percy Jackson will be safe at camp Half-Blood because he will be watched by other people there, the camp director told LREI News.

Percy was taught to fight a bit before the monster came. Campers  at Camp Half-Blood were impressed because Percy could not fight before but now he can fight. Percy acted like a pro with the sword even though he did not know how to use it. The monster was scared by Percy and he ran away.

Percy Jackson used his fighting skills for the first time against the monster. “I am so scared,” Percy said. Percy Jackson overcame his fear and was known all around the camp. Percy had a problem and overcame it and “that makes him a true hero.” Do you want to read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief?

NYC- Today Auggie Pullman got a tour of the school Beecher  Prep. He got a tour from three kids who have been in Beecher prep’s lower school named Charlotte, Jack Will, and Julian,. During the tour, Auggie, who is deformed, did not look at any of the kids because he does not want people seeing his face. He thinks if anybody sees his face they will be scared or bully him later. Auggie´s eyes are lower on his face, he has a ¨turtle- like¨ mouth, and ¨punched-in¨ cheeks.

The principal Mr. Tushman told the kids to give Auggie a tour of the school. Mr. Tushman told Auggie that he will be in the same homeroom as Charlotte, Jack, and Julian and be in some of the same classes as them. After that the kids gave Auggie a tour of the school. Auggie did not talk much when the kids gave him the tour and he did not look at any of them for most of the tour. The kids gave Auggie a tour of all the rooms and the performance stage where the school does their plays. All the kids did not seem that bad to Auggie at first. But when the tour was over Auggie told his mom that Julian was not as nice as the other kids.
