I read a book called CHOMP, it is by Carl Hiaasen. The book is about a dad and son who are animal wranglers. They keep many animals in their backyard. The son’s name is Wahoo Cray and his dads name is Mickey Cray.

Wahoo and Mickey need money for the bank, so Wahoo looks for jobs, for his dad. Wahoo finds a job for his dad. The job Wahoo finds is a TV job. Mickey can be the animal wrangler of the show. Guess what the TV shows name is, Expedition Survival. Expedition Survival is a “reality” show. It is about a survivalist Derek Badger.

Derek is the no good star of the show. He wants to put the real back in reality. Except he gets everything he wants and is, really annoying. Derek is pampered and doesn’t know anything about surviving in the wild.

Anyways, I made a diorama, and the scene I made is when Derek tries to act all tough and show off. He tries to eat a snake except this snake does not want to be eaten. Wahoo and Mickey are there and so is Tuna which is a girl that you will meet in the book she is the same age as Wahoo and she is really nice. Derek doesn’t get seriously injured but he gets some bites and bruises.

Something that also happens in the book is that Derek gets lost in the Everglades. Everybody looks for him. When Wahoo, Tuna, and Mickey go looking for Derek they run into a lot of trouble and a little search turns into a life or death situation. The Everglades is in Miami.

Mickey doesn’t like to put up with Derek’s nonsense. Mickey isn’t a very good listener. On the other hand Wahoo listens he has to keep his dad from doing anything to Derek. Wahoo is really responsible, but he is also really brave. Tuna is really kind so kind sometimes it annoys me. Her father is always doing bad things and she does not get mad at him, which I find really annoying. Wahoo’s mom is in China trying to make money. Wahoo’s older sister is at school learning to be a lawyer. This is an okay book, I would rate it 3 stars and 3/10.

This scene is when Khione, the evil snow goddess, freezes Piper and Jason. They are demigods. Khione sends Leo (who is also a demigod) into the sky. When he gets down he lands on a island called Ogygia. There he meets a girl named Calypso. At first they both hated each other but then they started being nicer to each other. I chose this scene because it has a lot of action in it.

The book I read is Spirit Animals. It is about four 11 year old kids who get a life long companion called a “spirit animal”. In the land of Erdas a week after your 11th birthday the Greencloaks give you a nectar ceremony. In the nectar ceremony you drink the nectar of Lennori. Lennori is the smartest person in all of Erdas. There’s a one in 100 chance to get a spirit animal by drinking this nectar. These four kids got special animals, ones that are impossible to get. Briggan the Wolf, Uraza the Leopard, Essixs the Falcon, and Jhi the Panda were the animals that became their lifelong companions. The kids names are Rollan (Essix) Meilin (Jhi) Abeke (Uraza) and Conor (Briggan). I hope you enjoy the video and you are inspired to read the book.

My book is called Darke. The author is Angie Sage. It is the sixth book in a series called Septimus Heap. The series is about a boy who has adventures and this book is fiction because it has magic. The setting is mainly in a castle near a river and a palace, I think the time is in medieval times because of knights and queens. The main characters are Septimus Heap and Jenna. If you want to read the series the first book is called Magyk. The plot in this is a character called Merrin Meredith tries to disrupt life in the castle by making a darke domaine spread in the castle. He makes it spread by using things to carry and spread the darke domaine within the castle. Everyone in the castle tries to prevent this.

About Septimus Heap: he is the 7nth son of a 7nth son which means he is extra magical. He is apprenticed to the extraordinary wizard and his eyes are green. His hair is straw colored curls. He likes a lot of the stuff no one else likes, like fizzfroot.

About Jenna: she has a dead mom. Her dad always seeks treasure. Adopted by Silas and Sarah Heap. She hates being safe.

My book is called Horten’s Miraculous Mechanisms by Lissa Evans.  It is about a boy named Stuart who moves to his father’s’ home town called Beeton. One day he receives a package with a magic money box in it. He finds a note in it from his great uncle who is a magician it is for his dad. But instead Stuart goes on the adventure to find his uncle’s secret workshop. It takes place in 2011.

There are a lot of characters, there are identical triplets named April, May, and June, a rich evil business women named jeanne and her student Clifford, a blind old lady named Leonora and her guide dog Pluto. In this adventure story Stuart and April become friends, and break the law more than once. Stuart goes back in time and sees his great uncle tony April starts an illegal protest and Jeanne tries to sell the workshop. But in the end Stuart wins it all. I did not like the end because the workshop wasn’t in a good hidden place. I did like how Lissa Evans described every single thing. my favorite part was when Jeanne surprised Stuart in the museum.

I read the book The School For Good And Evil. In my diorama there is two people and two different sides to the same school. The headmaster decides which school each student goes to, but there’s a strange accident and the girls end up on the wrong side of the school. The person at the school for evil is Sophie who is very nice and by accident got put at the school for evil. The person at the school for good is Agatha. She is weird and wicked. She was supposed to go to the school for evil. Soon the girls start to realize that it might not have been an accident. Surprisingly, Sophie and Agatha are BFFs.

The Stowaways is about two mice. The main mouse’s name is Rory. Rory really wants to go on an adventure. Rory’s grandfather passed away on his last adventure in the woods. Rory’s grandmother  still believes her husband is still out in the woods on an adventure trying to come back home. But I believe he’s dead because he was out there for sooo long.

The reason I picked this part of my book is because it shows a lot of character on Rory’s part. The reason this is courageous is because birds and mice don’t usually get along. For Rory to let a seagull take him by his scarf, and trust him is not only courageous but willing. He was willing to help The SEAGULL!!! For those of you don’t know mice and seagulls don’t really mix well.
