HATCHET
by Gary Paulsen
I’m reading Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, the main characters name is Brian Robeson. The setting of this book is in a plane and the Canadian Wilderness. It is about a boy heading on a plain to see his father and he and the pilot are the only people on the plain something happens to the pilot but I wont say, and Brian lands where he does not want to and he has to survive alone. I did not enjoy the book very much if I were to rate it 1 to 5 I would say 2 or 3. My least favorite part about the book was hearing the gross juicey words about what happened to the pilot. I would recommend this book to people who like kind of an adventure story with sad and GROSS parts.
Emma, you are not the only fourth-grade to give Hatchet a poor review! Aside from the gruesome language, what else about this book didn’t work for you? Does Hatchet have any redeeming qualities?
Second best book I’ve ever read, But my First is Hero, if you read this and liked it, read hero.
I really HATED it!
Emma, that was a awesome review but I am scared to read it!
