Imagine The Future

Q. 1

“When you were in lower school, what was something that you were excited about for fifth grade? How do you feel about it now that you’ve done it?

A. 1

I was very exited about moving from class to class, and not having the same teacher breathing on my neck. Now that I can move around, I am more steady in class and I know more people and I get an overall better experience.

Q. 2

“What was something about fifth grade that you were a little nervous or worried about? How do you feel about it now?”

A. 2

I was worried about being the small ones just after we where the oldest in the lower school.

Q. 3 “What is something about which you are still a little nervous or worried? What might you do to feel a little less nervous or worried?”

A. 3

I am a little worried about the early lunch time.

Q. 4

“What is something that you haven’t done yet in middle school about which you are excited? What are you excited about it?”

A. 4

I am excited about the physical fitness test in February.

Mix & Match Graph HW

ADH5-graphsThe second graph on the top in C, there are more seconds then the graph shows.

The second graph on the middle row of B doesn’t stop twice. It is supposed to be in A, but since it doesn’t stop twice, the people who put it under be thought it was B since  it only stopped once.

The second graph in A is just wrong.

On C, the first graph on the second row goes strait up, even though the problem has different paces.

The graph on the third row of B has two dots on second one, and the second dot starts at ten.

On C, the second graph in the second row starts running witch is correct, but then it slows down and then gets faster, instead of the other way around.

My Atom

Screen Shot 2014-10-08 at 7.01.26 PMIn my mind, this is how I saw an atom. I made my atom this way because I know that atoms are small, but molecules are smaller. An atom is made out of several different molecules. The rings around the sphere, the main component, represent the different parts of the atom and the different molecules. The rings are different colors because different molecules are probably different colors. The center sphere is green because when I think about things like this, I imagine the main parts to be green. The bubble represents the whole thing and its binding.

ELECTRIC SQUEEZE!!!!!!!!!!!!

15026094998_9d60e3174d_q 15026101497_f18632cce2_qAt Ashokan we had a  chance of making it into the archives. The way we would get in would be completing a task, and that task was the electric squeeze. We were a new division, 80+  students.

We got to have a practice, eyes open, just to get a feel of what it would be like. Let me tell you something, it was NOTHING WHAT PRACTICE WAS LIKE. We failed the first one, one way, in a circle. All of the kids were so nervous, having no idea which way it would go. We messed up, but had a few more tries on harder ones.

We got them all, but on the 3rd one, me, Miles, and Eli got way more squeezes then we should have. Miles got 6, I got 5  instead of three,  and Eli got 4 instead of 3. We each realized something was wrong so we each didn’t pass 1 on. Apparently, we fixed the issue and we won, and it was so exciting!
