On Sunday, 11/29, my group and I met up and went down to city hall for a climate march. We arrived with signs to hold up during the march. We quickly met up with Brian Torres, who is making a documentary on climate change. He filmed us as we marched. The march actually started shortly after, and we left City Hall to march around the block. During the march, people frequently shouted chants about climate change, and we even started one. “What do we want?” “Climate justice!” “When do we want it?” “Now!” It was great to see how many people came, especially considering that the march was arranged on a very short notice. It’s important that lots of people are interested in changing climate change, and we got to see that at the march. The march ended one hour after it started, and we went back. It was a really interesting and fun experience, and I’m glad we went.
