Something that I learned was that you aren’t always good at everything that you do. I learned this because our basketball team has been playing very badly so I realized that we aren’t the best basketball team to ever cross the face of the universe. (But we’re God damn close).

…..hmmmmm. I have heard the saying that any team can be any other team on any given day. Learning that you aren’t always as good as you think you are is a good lesson. It hopefully helps you to bring 100% to whatever you do all the time.
