As the Theatre club continues I am running into new challenges every class. Mostly I am missing the convenience of communication. Normally, during the first few weeks of the Spring Festival most of the students occupy one or two rooms and it’s a big free for all of trying out different scenes reading plays together. Now it’s weird to do that digitally, only one conversation can happen at a time and interrupting people is such a bother it doesn’t seem worth it anymore. I think this week I learned I need to provide my students with a clearer structure for the club so that there are less moments of not knowing what to do, less moments of silence and being unsure. I hope this realization will help me next week,
