After coming up with the chords I liked to go with the melody, I realized playing it all perfectly in one recording was a bit more challenging than I thought. I had been focusing on writing the song, and perfecting each aspect of it but I hadn’t been thinking about actually performing it all at once. For the past week, I have been practicing for at least 30 minutes everyday going from chord to chord faster which takes time and practice. When it comes to the actual recording, I also know I’ll be able to edit it and could always rerecord parts I’d like to perfect. However, my main goal for this project isn’t to have songs I want to put out there yet or anything, they are just a few acoustic songs that reflect the journey I’ve taken with this project and how if writing and music are 2 things you love, you can play around with songwriting even if you have very minimal experience.
