At the beginning of book two something very cool is revealed about Trisolorus, mainly a secret weapon humans have against Trisolrus in 400 years when they arrive to exterminate us and take our planet which is in one constant stable era. Although they are way more advanced than we are and can spy on us in real time. Trisolorians communicate by brain wave. They have super high powered brain waves which means they don’t require the need to talk or communicate in different ways. Moreover, in the name of transparency it has become custom on Trisolorus to not hide your brain waves. Therefore everything they think is immediately displayed to everyone around them and they don’t think. This means they are scared of humans because of our ability to be cunning, lie and manipulate. This was really interesting to me and made me think about what it would be like if that was on earth. On trisolorus they have all become cold and void of emotions based on their need for survival, and the only way to really live through chaotic eras like they do is to become this way. I think that if we had thought transparency it could actually lead to a really good civilization.
