My essential question is centered around providing fresh and healthy meals to my family during the quarantine. This became a very important topic in my life and was able to help bring some ease to my family during this complicated time. Foraging for food is a useful skill to have while stuck on a farm. Eating organic farm fresh food has always been an integral element of my time upstate. Because of this, I had a good understanding of going into this project of the farm culture in this area and in turn my family has already built up the relationships needed to get food directly from farms. On the other hand, I knew very little about searching for food on my own and have a lot to learn on that front. My outside sources are a big help for this because I am able to learn new information about foraging that I can then use in practice.
