This week in my online class I learned about the theory of libertarianism, and specifically the libertarian doctrine of Robert Nozick in the 1970’s. I found that the aspects that most applied to my project were his ideas on distributive justice and the wealth disparity and structural inequality that often leads to crime in this country. We also learned about John Locke’s theory of the State of Nature and Natural Law which I found really interesting. Here are my notes on the Locke reading.
