This quarter in french class has been super fun! Some things I feel I have gotten better at was Taking tests, Studying and Being steady in class. But some things that are still hard for me are Working independently, Spelling and Participation. This coming quarter I am going to be sure to work extra hard on these but I have also set two goals working more on vocab and participation. I think some things that could help me is going to IWP to practice and to spend more time reviewing vocab. Some of my favorite things we have done this year is the cultural presentations and working in the petit cahier. For the rest of the year I am looking forward to the house project and when we make french foods!!!!!!!!

My topic for this assignment was Le Louvre Pyramide! This pice of architecture was designed by I.M.Pei. I built a small model of the Louvre it showed the underground room witch they used as part of the art gallery. Fun fact, the pyramids were actually built for a newer and grander entrance. While researching my project I found some cool stuff like the french subway. The Louvres subway color is yellow and the number is one. Trains in Paris there are two different banks the louvre is on the left bank (Rive Gauche). During this project I learned a lot of new things like vocabulary, information and more. I can’t wait to learn more about Paris!
For my post I chose my Halloween project to write about because I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot. The Halloween project is a project where you are supposed to pick a few pictures and describe them in French. I wrote about a witch, a monster, candy, pumpkins, ghosts, bats, a broom, decorations, a hat and a black cat. During this project I learned a lot about adjective endings and how you know how to choose the agreement. I also learned about the BAGS rule, when adjectives go before the noun. I had a lot of fun with this project!

During this assignment I learned many new rules and words in the french language. One is any time you are talking about yourself you put a je or j’ at the beginning of each word. I also leaned if you are talking about you then if it is informal you add a vous and take away the r and add a z but if it is informal then you just take away the r and add a s. And if you are talking about we than you take away the er and add a ons but you have to add a nous in the beginning. And lastly when you are talking about they you take away the r and add a nt plus you put a elles or ils on the front. When I did this activity I really enjoyed learning new things and working in my group.
