In Science class we were told to make an atom in tinker cad. The atom I made was a Helium atom. I made my atom in Tinker Cad it’s really fun and cool! But anyway the reason I chose this atom is because I think Helium is really cool looking. I hope you liked it!
These pictures are from the Ashokan! In one of them I was being guided by Clarissa down a huge hill blind folded! It was crazy I didn’t even trip once. I liked how I did not know where I was going! In the second one is a picture of the sheep two sheep (right now I forget their names) but the gout’s name was Lucy. They were adorable and they were trying to eat our apples when we walked by. And in the last picture my group and I were playing a game where you could not make up an order and you could not signal, but you had to make up to ten. You would do this by yelling out the next number without someone else doing it to. It took forever but we actually made it up to twenty. Anyway the Ashokan was tons of fun and I am super excited to go next year!
In d-lab class we did this really fun project called The Human Computer. This project was where we all were picked to be different parts of the computer and we had to do things like turn brightness up. I played the roles of the fan (which if you did not know it keeps the computer from over heating) the user (which you probably know is the person who gives the orders on the computer) and lat I played the BIOS ( which if you don’t know makes sure all the really important stuff gets in and the less important stuff gets through last). In this project I found that it’s extremely hard being a computer!
When I was making this font is was really difficult to get the idea I really liked right. Something that was hard to do was figure out how all the rules could could e used for every letter. And the name of the font is called BLOCK! I choose this because my font is kind of like blocks. Hope you enjoyed it! BYE!
So far in math class I think I have been doing really well and understanding everything. In math class we have been learning about long division and multiplication. So far it has been really fun to learn all the different strategies. And they have really helped me learn more about math. Something I am working on is to get better at checking over my work. My plain to improve is to try and remember to check it every time I do some work. And something I think I am good at is to work nicely together with other people. Anyway these papers were my most recent test that happened in math class. Bye!
Today was the day I’ve been waiting for all year! Thanksgiving my favorite holiday(other than Christmas of course)! The reason I love this holiday so much is because food is like the best thing ever! And my mom and I are really awesome cooks. Especially on Thanksgiving my mom goes up a weak early just to cook. It’s crazy she goes absolutely mad! Well more me because it’s sooo much food! Yum! And did I mention there are like 35 wait no 36 people that come that we even have to get 2 turkeys! It’s once again crazy. Anyway so this is the story of Thanksgiving day. . .
Half an hour till the people would come. What to do? I searched the house trying to find something. I could not help in the kitchen. There was nothing to do but watch the two turkeys being shoveled in and out of the oven. My parents had barely gotten dressed yet. My mom was wearing a apron over her sweatpants and shirt that she had gotten grease on and my dad was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt that had also gotten grease on. I knew I could not help there so I went off to find my little sister.
Hudson was laying on her bed in a fancy dress playing on her iPod but at the same time watching TV. She had no idea even what time it was! After this I was somewhat disappointed no one needed me but joyful when I realized what time it was 4:45! The guests would arrive at 5:00! By this I felt a chill of happiness run up my spine. 15 more minutes I thought. So I just layed there but got really bored so I looked back at the clock 4:46! It had been one minute when it felt like 15. So I decided I would look at my room, it was spotless nothing to do there. So I went back downstairs and my mom and dad were finally dressed and cutting up the two turkeys. Then I heard it the sound of joy “DING DONG” Yeah!!! so very quickly I took a look at my dress to make sure it still looked good then I ran to the door. I opened it and thought 1 group down 19 to go.

This story was about Thanksgiving and how hard the wait is for it to start. I chose this piece because I really like the story and how funny it was. I also chose it because I worked really hard on it and I am really happy with it. But as it took a seriously long time to get the right words and to make it sound really nice now I am extremely happy with it. The learning habit this demonstrates was perseverance because I kept trying to find more things to write about. And something that was a challenge for me was to keep writing without worrying about my spelling but I think in the end it turned out great!
Hello! This project is called the Big Bang. The Big Bang is what created all of us and every thing that is around us. Our project is representing the Big Bang. One inaccuracy with our project is actually believe it or not that huge explosion in space made no noise. And obviously ours made noise. And an accuracy was that ours scatted in tootle different spots just like the Big Bang. Anyway hope you enjoyed our video!
