French Project

French Project

My topic was the Louvre. A goal I completed while doing this was doing well on research and finding the right things about the Louvre. I also think I managed my time well . The colors and the numbers refer to different lines. I learned that the Louvre is the largest museum in the world. My favorite part of this project was when we shared our projects for specific reasons.(cake)

Descriptions Using Adjectives in French

The main topic we learned about during our projects was adjectives but mostly BAGS rule adjectives. BAGS adjectives are when adjectives are described by

B: Beauty

A: Age

G: Goodness

S: Size

Etre

Je = Suis                                                         Nous = sommes

Tu =  Es                                                        Vous = etes

Il/Elle/On = est                                          Ils/Elles = sont

This project was for Halloween and we had to look at the picture that we got and find things in the picture and write adjectives about them.

French Verbs

The topic for this assignment was for us to learn the ER verb subject and to learn new verbs. The goal of the assignment was to learn all the new verbs we could and finish the packet.

If there is a Je, Tu, Il, Elle, Vous, Nous, Ils or Elles before an ER verb, it means the ER verb will have a different ending.

Je: Get rid of the R

Tu: Get rid of the R, add a S

Ils/Elles: Get rid of the R

Vous: Get rid of the R, add a Z

Nous: Get rid of the R, add ONS

Ils/Elles: Get rid of the R, add NT

A verb before it is changed is called a verb infinitive.

The ending of this verb is most of the time ER.

I enjoyed learning the new verb and liked finding things out from the pictures.

French Restaurant Skit

This is my blog post about the skit we did in French

(Pictures coming later)

The restaurant skit was like a test to see how far we came in the unit. It was very fun but challenging because we had to pronounce everything correctly. I learned that there are different types to say one word, even if the word you think is right and sounds right, turns out wrong. Our skit turned out well and was so fun to make.
