Hi, I’m Drew. When I went to my Grandmother’s house, I saw this old-looking chest. I asked her “What is in the chest?” She said “Some old stuff that my father wrote.” I looked inside and saw an old letter, a doll and lots of other cool stuff you’ll see pictures of. It felt awesome because you saw old stuff from 1905 to 1911. I think it’s important to study the past because you could learn some things about your family you never knew. I was so inspired that I wrote a graphic novel about my Great-Grandfather and drew a painting of him coming over on a boat. I wish I could of met my Great-Grandfather because I want to talk to him about his trip over.
