Imagine The Future

When I grow up I will be good at what I do. I hope I can still have time to ride horses in the future. I feel very excited/happy/sad about the future. Helping the poor is important to me now and will continue to be important to me in the future. In the future, my family will still be as happy. I imagine that my siblings, or cousins will be able to complete their dreams when they grow up. The way I will continue to learn when I grow up will be by going to college and noticing the world around me. For fun I will play sports. I will really be excited for the invention of the floating car because it means I’ll be able to drive a floating car. The one thing I most want to do when I grow up is drive a floating car. One current problem that people in the world face today that will be solved is that there is no floating cars and I hope that wars stop. (but they probably won’t stop.) An action that I”ll take in the future to help solve this problem is that I will invent a floating car and become president. One current problem that still won’t be solved in the future is having wars. To help to try to  this problem in the future, I can imagine my self ruling the world. In the future People will say this about me, “Hey, thats the girl who invented the FLOATING CAR.

Imagine the Future

https://lrei.myschoolapp.com/ftpimages/165/download/download_1429340.jpg?ver=1414623360000“When you were in lower school, what was something that you were excited about for fifth grade? How do you feel about it now that you’ve done it?
What was something about fifth grade that you were a little nervous or worried about? How do you feel about it now?
What is something about which you are still a little nervous or worried? What might you do to feel a little less nervous or worried?
What is something that you haven’t done yet in middle school about which you are excited? What are you excited about it?”

I was really excited to have desert and chocolate milk because most kids love sweats and being able to eat treats in school to me means you are mature and I just really like sweats. I was really worried about all the independence that we get and how you’re not reminded when you have to go to each class. The part I was worried about was the whole thing in general, just all the thoughts about all the independence got to me. But now because we are going into the second quarter I have adjusted to the middle school schedule. Because we have done all but one class I fell really adjusted (like I said earlier) I don’t fell scared, nervous or worried. One thing that I haven’t done yet that I can’t wait for is drame because I love being part of something big and pretending to be someone your not.

My population graph

In my graph and all the other graphs the dots should be connected. Why I say that is because things are happening between the dots. New people coming into the world old people are leaving the world. At the end of my graph it is pretty much straight forward besides the little plateaus here and there and thousands of people we lost because of wars and the circle of life. The little hint Ann gave us helped so much. I didn’t really have to change my graph because of that hint because I hadn’t started filling in the graph but it certainly changed the plan I had for the graph.

The problems we had with…

My group had problems with the way the cards described the point in time it takes place. What I mean by that is the way other people described something was different than the way we pictured it. And a lot of the cards we got were about the beginning of our universe and the movie so we didn’t remember all of the information. And we didn’t know we were getting a test at the end of the movie so we didn’t pay as much attention on the movie, but if we had known we would of study and really keep all our focus on the information.

History of the world in two hours

On Friday we got cards that kids in our grade wrote down about the movie we watched in class. Then we had to  organize the cards from what happened last to what was the most resent  stuff. When we got the cards they were all messed up so we couldn’t use that to help us so the timeline. Then we had to switch group and check each others work. What was really challenging was that we weren’t aloud to cheek our learning logs for the correct answers until we were done. One thing my group got wrong and had to fix was that we thought that the Hobosaibians settled in before the stone age then we realized that the stone age happened before they even began to move around. What helped was that we were allowed to work with other people so if we were unsure about something you could ask one another.

Graphs Of Distance

I am going to talk about the graph in the top left hand corner of story C.

I think that that one doesn’t belong there or anywhere because it looks like it keeps the same rhythm the whole way through. But in story C you have to change the rate of your speed and this graph doesn’t show that.
What I find really interesting is that we were all given the distance and the problem and it was all up to us whether our slow walk 15 seconds or 2… And none of the graphs were exactly the same even is it was the same problem.

My Atom

When I closed my eyes this is the Atom I came up with: Why I put the little triangles, diamonds, circles and stars is because I believe that there were little objects orbiting the atoms. Why I put the rings around the main pice is because I though that the atoms had rings like Saturn. But for some wierd reason when ever I see an atom in a movie the picture in my head stays the same.
