This summer I spent most of my time horse back riding. I love horses, they are my life. I don’t know what I would do without them. I would leave my house to get to the barn at 8:30 and get home at 6:00. As you can see my days would be pretty full. My cousins came to the Hamptons from California. I was so happy when they came because I am really close to my cousin. She taught me how to play lacrosse and get a lot better at soccer. When they left in July I was really upset because I would have to wait till Christmas to see them again, but I still had half the summer to enjoy. So then I went back to my 8:30-6:00 routine. Best Summer Ever!

Great post! There’s a typo in the sixth sentence (“My cousins…”) Can you spot it? Read the sentence that starts with “When they left in July…” out loud to yourself. Are there any places you might need a comma or a period? Any typos you spot?
Mind your capital letters, too. If “soccer” isn’t capitalized, does “Lacrosse” need to be?
