Lost Garments

Lost Garments: These are pieces I created that I never used for a photo shoot.

This garment was made though a couch sample as the top. I followed the dynamic and geometric lines of the pattern to speak to me as the direction of the garment.

This is the pants to the previous look, though its not my favorite pairing ever. These pants were made from two halves of an old recorder case, Hence the upside-down print on the left pant. I not only enjoyed the off white color that this case had but I also love the contrast and boldness of the print, and when it came to be upside down I enjoyed it even more.
This piece was made from two main materials: tinfoil and red vinyl. The tinfoil was partially ripped so I enjoyed how it provided an interesting visual texture up close. Then I used regular Elmer’s glue to bind this thin red vinyl sheet that I had. The necklace was added for style
