After finishing the paper from the survey, I started to continue my research. My mentor sent me a zoom event on The Roles of Racism & For-Profit Healthcare in Pandemic Response Failures, which I thought would be a great contribution to my project. Along with that, my family has been sending me multiple articles since they know my essential question. I also have stumbled upon a few articles from websites and browsing youtube. At this point in my project, I’m not sure what I want to include or what is necessary for my final outcome. Although we have two weeks left, I might start putting everything together so I have an extra week or couple of days to align everything and possibly add more research in, if needed. Here are the notes that I’ve taken since last time.
I think the link here is broken – but I’m glad that you’ve been able to collect more resources for your notes! I think the question of ‘what to include or what is necessary’ is an important one to think about as we near the end of the senior project period, and I believe that this week, Preethi and the senior project team will hash out what your final presentation will look like. At that point, you should be able to form a more concrete idea of how you want to present your work – and what exactly should go into it. Right now, perhaps it might be worthwhile to start thinking about how you would group up the things that you’ve looked into and see if there are any ideas or concepts or topics that naturally work together that you could begin to weave into a narrative.
