I started reading the Best American Sportswriting last week.  The book allows me to understand how to illustrate a full story. Especially in sports it’s important to know who the character is.  Reading this will hopefully push me to be better at understanding how to write and speak about sports.  A lot of the stories are interesting and focus on small focuses that lead to a bigger topic/overarching problem.
