Sophie Kielian Blog Post #4

The second half of this week went well for me. I was able to complete most of my research, long articles, and organizational work at the beginning of the week, so I was able to focus on interviews and other more relaxed work for the rest of the week. I interviewed Michel de Konkoly, Jane Olsen, Nika Marohnic, Ari El Gharsi, and Peggy Peloquin about the changes to their exercise routine and mental health as a result of the pandemic. It was very interesting to hear from people from my community. Since I was asking the same questions of everybody, it was interesting to hear how the answers differed based on age, gender, location, etc. I was also able to do a more in depth interview with Peggy on yoga/dance, which was very beneficial. Since I don’t have much experience with either of these types of exercise, it was useful to hear about them from an expert and helped me with both my research and at-home workout experiments. Throughout the week, I continued doing yoga and dance workouts from homing, trying out a variety of different online platforms. The platform that I mainly used this week was the Nike Training app, which I plan to write a review on next week.
