Essential Question: How can I explain the importance of personal style in an eco-friendly manner while simultaneously experimenting with my own?

A few days ago I learned an important lesson. I was in Joanne’s mask-making Y block, cutting up an old T-shirt to make a mask. However, I went too fast. Here is the link to what it was supposed to look like. Here is what mine looked like.

I went too fast and didn’t like the edges with each other, resulting in very thin and thick ties. I wish I went slower and took my time. This is a really important lesson. I just bought my sewing machine, which means, now more than ever I must take my time and learn the skill instead of rush and make a mistake. I am glad I made this mistake because it taught me that precision is important. There is no need to rush!
