Body Systems circulatory

The circulatory system’s job is to carry blood throughout the body. It also transports nutrients, and oxygen in order to help the body fight diseases, and provide energy, and nourishment to the body. The circulatory system works with heart, arteries, blood, capillaries, and veins. Some interesting discoveries we have made during our research were things like, There are five types of white blood cells, all having similar structures and functions, but they all fight of diseases. We also learned that the heart pumps blood through a huge artery that separates into other veins that guides the blood through the body. A question we have is what is inside of blood cells that make It red and what else does it do to help the body? What is attacking your heart when you have a heart attack.
