My spring break trip

This spring break I went on a very fun trip to Tokyo. I had such a fun time and I for sure want to go back! If I had to choose one experience that I liked the most would be when I went to Tsukiji fish market. Tsukiji is the biggest fish market in the world. The fish market is right outside of Tokyo because it needs so much space. The big tuna from all over the world go there first and then are shipped out to all the buyers. I went to the fish market at 4am because I was so jet lagged and that’s when all the fish come in from the boats. When we got there, an old guy started yelling at me and my dad and we did not know what he was saying, so we kept walking. We got there thinking we would just get to see the fish. We were very lucky that when we got there we got the last ticket to go to the auction. The auction takes place and 6am and it’s where all the fish buyers buy the 7000 pound tunas. They only let 20 people in a day. We felt so lucky that we got the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the whole fish market where everything is done and see the auction, and see the huge fish come in from all around the world. The best part of the action was when I took a photo with the guy who runs the entire market, my dad has the photo but the photo that is on the top is a pano I made of one half on one side.
