My reggae piece:
I chose reggae as my style because I thought reggae sounded really good and it would be interesting to research/write a piece. I liked researching reggae. I like listening to all the pieces and finding out a lot of info about it. I learned what instruments reggae used, what part the instruments play in reggae and famous reggae singers. I had a challenge at the beginning of writing my piece. It wasn’t sounding like reggae. I tried making sound more like reggae, and continued writing it. I realized later that it sounded nothing like reggae, and that it wasn’t very good. When we wrote the wind instrument part, I wrote something that didn’t go with the rest of my piece, but it was really good. That turned into my new A section. I then restarted everything else.
