my project is getting very interesting. Mainly it is trying to demonstrate what the building blocks of most meaningful scientific developments are, mainly subatomic particle examination. I also find my self mainly researching ideas that were discussed during astronomy class and peaked my interest. I find the part about light speed travel most interesting. The trisolorans, are able to travel one tenth the speed of light, yet due to the size of their ships, need magnets which attract matter they than can convert to energy. The idea of particles moving light speed is really interesting. When the trisolorians shoot the unfolded, supercomputer proton, or saphon, they are able to make it go extremely fast, the speed of light. What I thought was interesting is how the protons borrow energy from everything infront of them to move this fast, and the energy isn’t destroyed but will only be released when the proton decays which will be near the end of the universe. I didn’t realize energy tranfer could happen like this.
