Week 2 post 1

As the week began I tried to expand both my cooking skills and foraging.

One problem I’ve come across while foraging is the difficulty to properly identify a plant. Below is an example of when I came across a small field of sprouts and tried to identify what they were. As you can see, the results contained a number of possibilities (more than shown below) for the same plant. This made me take a step back and double-check my research as I forage.

I have also cooked a number of new dishes including lasagna and other dishes focused around the plants I was able to successfully forage.
