I had a successful final week of senior project. I did a lot of culminating work and reflection, so it was interesting to think and look back on the everything I’ve done throughout this experience and see how much I’ve learned. I felt like I was mostly finished with the research portion of my project, so most of the work I did this week was writing, editing, and putting my work together into a final product. I created a summary of my findings on the impact of exercise on mental health and the brain, the science behind different types of exercise and my personal reflection after trying these exercises, and a few reviews of workout apps. I also went through all of the interviews I did and pulled some findings, observations and reflections that I found interesting. However, I wasn’t sure how to include this into my final product, so I chose to leave it separate. I had a somewhat difficult time connecting all of the different pieces to my project. I felt like I went off onto a few subtopics throughout the senior project experience and I ended up with a lot of research and information on many different topics. While this was all very interesting and helpful to my overall understanding of my essential question, I’m not quite sure how to connect all of these pieces into a final product, especially in regards to the presentation. I am currently figuring out which pieces to include in my presentation and which to leave out.
