The weather has been making things very difficult for me this week. The constant rain has made my foraging difficult. I continued to go out and forage but the rain made it rather miserable and made the bounty I’ve been able to collect low. For this reason, I chose to make a garlic mustard pesto because I already knew where the crops were and knew they were plentiful.
It has been a bit hard to continue to think of new dishes to make as the days and weeks go on. The limitation in fresh ingredients being sold right now has helped force me to base my dishes off of availability as opposed to just my creative wishes.
